How it all began
From Greece, to the heart of the Himalayas
My name is Dimitrios Giannopoulos. Fifteen years ago I bought a ticket to Kathmandu, not knowing I would never truly leave. I did not visit Nepal — it kept me.
I learned the language, walked trails no guidebook mentions, ate in people’s homes and slept in teahouses at 4,000 metres. Everything I know about this land, I know because I lived it — not because I read it.
In Pokhara I also found my family. Together with Kumari, my partner, and our team, we welcome travellers as if they were coming home — with Greek hospitality and a Nepali heart.
What I offer is not an off-the-shelf package. It is a journey built around you, with someone who lives here, speaks your language and knows when the weather will turn before it turns.
“You do not visit Nepal. You live it. And I am here to take you by the hand.”
— Dimitrios Giannopoulos
